Cache-cache chez Arthur is a small game designed with Bitsy, an accessible game engine created by Adam Le Doux. In keeping with the narrative, autobiographical, and slice-of-life games described by Anna Anthropy in "The Rise of the Videogame Zinesters", it fully embraces its status as the “ugly duckling” of the video game industry. This gesture is not merely a critical stance: it takes shape in the experience itself, where players are invited to relive a game of hide and seek marked by exclusion and alienation within a group of children.

The installation version is based on a Raspberry Pi, where each component and cable needed for the game is deliberately exposed—a choice that affirms a desire for accessibility, demystification, but also vulnerability in this project.

Also playable online, Cache-cache chez Arthur is intended to be short, accessible, simple, and shareable, like the tiny games that inspired it.
